We all know that YouTube is the “go to” place for videos, but did you know that videos on YouTube can make money for those who upload them? Okay, it’s not an absolute fortune (up to $5 per 100 views) and your video needs to make $100 before you get a payout, but it’s worth bearing in mind if you’re a budding amateur film maker.

And what about Myspace? This was once one of the most popular social networking platforms online, especially for musicians and music fans. However, there was a sharp (14.4%) decline in unique users in January and February of 2011.
