I enjoyed every word of this article, very informative! Helped me brush up my my blog history.

I’m honoured to be mentioned as part of the 2007 generation, and have been a follower of the fellow 2007’ers since their early days.

The community has certainly boomed since with lots of new blogs, some producing top notch content. It will be interesting to see where it all heads in the future.

I sure thought David Airey would have made it on the list. His blog and work was the inspiration, at least in part, for a blogger or two above, myself included.

Always taken back by the history of anything on the web. First thing that hits me is Geocities. Second thing, Yahoo chat rooms.

Thanks for the informative research and presentation of this information. I do enjoy many, many blogs. And, it makes it more enjoyable when you know where they came from!

    Thanks again!

An excellent collection! It’s fun to go back and look and see how everything has evolved. It will be interesting to see what people will say 10 years from now, especially with all the advancements in HTML5 and CSS3.
