Zaria Forman is an artist who lives in New York, USA. She is famous for her painting with the application of pastels. She has been painting Green Island icebergs with a realistic touch in her drawings. The basic aim, behind such effortless artistic work, is to promote awareness regarding global warming as well as a tribute to her deceased mother’s work. Her mother had an essence and dedication for photography of natural sceneries.
Zaria’s mother started her arctic journey by photographing the distant areas of north-west Coast of Green Island. She had inspirations of such journey from an American painter William Bradford who had travelled successfully the Arctic areas in 1869. Unluckily, death didn’t allow her to accomplish her goals for photography. Zaria Forman is now on the mission to complete her mother’s wishes for travelling Green Island. Her paintings portray the true love for landscape and beauty of nature.
