The Galaxy Gear, Samsung’s latest foray into the smart watch category, is now official and it’s quite unlike anything you’ve seen before. Yes, it’s a Smartphone accessory that can pick up all the notifications, control music play back, and keep time with the rich and beautiful variety of watch faces, but Samsung took few steps further by integrating a 1.0 mega pixel camera, a speaker and two microphones, allowing you to shoot 720 p movies and even conduct phone calls with Galaxy Gear.

Samsung says the device will squeeze out 24+ hours of battery life and will be available in 6 different colours this October in US and Japan at around $300, with the rest of the world getting access to the device as early as September 25th.
Call From Samsung Galaxy Gear Smart Watch
Samsung Galaxy Gear display is a touch screen measuring 1.63 inches diagonally. Its strap has an embedded camera. The Gear supports the apps such as Facebook and lets the wear answer incoming calls or check email without picking up the Smartphone that’s paired with it. The Gear is not the smart watch disclosed in recent Samsung patent filings with a flexible display.
As for specification we are expecting a 2.5- inch screen, dual-core processor, sensors for fitness tracking and some kind of camera which should link directly with the phone.
After all that talk of the iwatch it papers that Samsung is going to get there first with its Galaxy gear smart watch.
